Applications

Oriented strand board (OSB), also known as flakeboard, sterling board and appetite in British, is a type of engineered wood similar to particle board, formed by adding adhesives and then compressing layers of wood strands (flakes) in specific orientations.including: structural insulated panels, the webs for wood I-joists, materials-handling applications, furniture, and a variety of do-it-yourself projects.
OSB is most commonly used for sheathing for roofs and walls, subfloors, and single-layer flooring.
